The Homesteader 36 is the largest mill in the Homesteader line and has the horsepower to tackle the large logs you need to mill. The 31 inch throat allows you to make mantles, tables, bar tops, custom signs and much more. The 16 horsepower v-twin electric start gas motor will make quick work of your sawmill cut list. This no frills manual mill is easy to operate and maintain. Lock your log in, turn the key, set your blade height with the easy to read quarter scale, throttle up and cut. The HFE-36 is that simple.

The most important thing is to have a flat and level surface to start with. I watched a you tube were this guy was saying some pretty bad things about the mill, well the platform he had it on was pretty unstable to say the least. If the mill isn’t working for him it’s his own fault.The assembly was simple and we had it going right away. We love it and would recommend it to anybody who wants to by a mill, easy to use and affordable and built in the USA!
