“Introduction to Hardwood Lumber Grading”

This video is based on an all-day seminar entitled “Grading and Sawing Hardwood
Lumber.” The instructor is a Senior Forester with the NYS Department of Environmental
Conservation. He teaches how to determine the volume and grade in a board by
explaining the standard grain rules, defining defects and showing how to find the
