What keeps Hud-Son Forest Equipment All American?

There’s a lot of other companies out there that might appear they’re made in certain areas or what not.

Some of that equipment is made overseas.

You guys have to do your research to figure out all that information.

I can tell you the truth Hud-Son is in my hometown made with friends and family that I’ve grown up with.

We are an American company using structural steel.

We make you a quality product.

They’ve been trained.

They stock our equipment.

They stock our parts.

They’re knowledgeable and if they can’t get an answer they know they have us behind them to get it.

So whether on the other side of the country or on the East Coast , wherever you can find a Hudson dealer

there’s definitely something said  about that.

If you’re in California and you’re talking to New York there’s 3,600 miles apart from us right now.

We just had a customer in Mississippi order an offshore sawmill.

Received it and it wasn’t as advertised.

When he tried to reach out to rectify the issue they just pretty much took his money.

That’s something we’re not into.

Wee we stand behind our product.

We stand behind good equipment and when you order something with a Hud-Son Forest Equipment name on it you’re going to get our our product just as advertised.

We’re still going to pick up the phone even if there’s an issue.

We’re going to take care of it the best that we can.

So, a couple weeks ago, I was out in Kansas doing a trade show.

The guy walked up and he had owned our sawmill for close to 10 years.

I said you know we have a local servicing dealer out here?

He said no, but he said would he still deal with you guys directly at home?

He said I’ve been able to find any you know belt or specialty bearing right here at a local auto part store!

He also said you guys have been able to network with them.

That’s you know our sawmills since we started building them.

Just common components.

That’s true.

That is one thing you can say about the design of any Hud-Son Forest Equipment product.

It’s a simple design. We try to keep it as simple as we can.

Working well and understandable for most people who are doing this kind of work.

They’re able to work on this themselves.

You can talk to somebody over the phone and we can usually diagnose the problem.

Get them back up and running in a short affordable amount of time.
